Who we are and why we partner

Natalie Kelly
Founder, Common Source Partners

Natalie Kelly founded Common Source Partners to help developers, builders, operators, municipalities, and communities create stronger outcomes around complex projects. The firm exists at the intersection of infrastructure and the people it touches, and that intersection is where Natalie has spent nearly two decades of her career.

Her path started in sustainability communications and grew into something broader: advising on how major projects engage suppliers, build workforce opportunity, and show up for the communities around them. Along the way she learned that the technical side of a project and the human side are never really separate. They succeed or stall together.

For ten years, Natalie served as Vice President of Corporate Responsibility at Brasfield & Gorrie, working alongside executive leadership, project teams, and clients on some of the country's most complex builds, from large-scale data centers to advanced manufacturing facilities to critical infrastructure investments. That work gave her a front-row seat to what it actually takes for a project to earn trust and deliver lasting value, not just for the people building it, but for everyone standing downstream of it.

Before that role, Natalie founded and led SUSTAIN Strategy & Media, helping organizations strengthen their sustainability, corporate responsibility, and stakeholder engagement efforts. Across her career, she has built partnerships and navigated complex stakeholder environments spanning the public and private sector, creating outcomes that extend beyond project delivery.

Natalie's connection to infrastructure is both professional and personal. Her father built one of the most prominent road construction companies in the Southeast, and her family continues that legacy today running a natural gas pipeline company. Growing up in that world gave her an early, firsthand understanding of what infrastructure means to communities, economies, and quality of life. That perspective has been sharpened by years of leadership work connecting infrastructure to the communities it touches. She has come to understand projects from both sides of the table: the people responsible for delivering them and the communities that live with their impact.

Natalie is known for connecting people who do not often speak the same language. She has spent her career learning how each side of a project thinks, how developers weigh risk, how contractors get things built, how municipalities make decisions, how communities build trust. That fluency across perspectives is the foundation of Common Source Partners.

Through Common Source Partners, Natalie helps clients move beyond transactional engagement toward meaningful alignment, creating lasting economic opportunity, stronger partnerships, and outcomes that are credible, practical, and beneficial for everyone involved.

Our name originates from a simple but powerful belief: development and community share a common source, and when aligned intentionally, both are stronger for it.

Common

Reflects what is shared: opportunity, responsibility, and the outcomes that shape communities.

Source

Speaks to origin and foundation. Before a project breaks ground, there is a place, a history, and a community whose future will be shaped by what is built there.

Partners

Reflects how we show up. We work alongside developers, builders, municipalities, and communities to create outcomes that strengthen both projects and the places they call home.

Infrastructure and community are not opposing forces.
When aligned intentionally, both become stronger.
